Bike and mountain bike

You can test your endurance on mountain roads, making your way up legendary passes on the Tour de France itinerary (cols du Portillon and Peyressourde).

If you prefer pedalling for fun, opt for a downhill racing bike. With Superbagnères for your starting point (12 minutes from Luchon by cable car*) you will find many tracks marked out for different levels. You can also go downhill on an Arapao, an all-terrain scooter with drum brake.

Gliding and paragliding

The Superbagnères ski resort, reached easily by cable car* and located 1200 m higher than Luchon, it is an ideal launch point for a two-seater paraglider or for a single seater if you are an expert. You can also brush up on your technique at a workshop run by certified monitors. The aerodrome invites you to take your first flight by airplane or a glider over the snowy peaks.

Tennis and Golf

With your family, enjoy a game of mini golf, a round of archery, or watch a Basque Pelota tournament…..

Fishing

If you prefer the calm of fishing (fly fishing or other) mountain rivers and lakes await you.

For the youngest ones, the Badech lake with regular fish releases and the fish farm (this is really child’s play) will introduce you to the discipline.

Horse and donkey riding

Make friends with the horses and ponies at the equestrian centre, or let the donkeys take you on a ride in the mountains as was done 100 years ago.

Thermal and wellness centre

The thermal and wellness centre will take care of your health and well-being. You can use the 160 metres of underground galleries of the vaporarium (a natural hammam unique in Europe with a heat of 38° to 42° and a hygrometry close to 100%) to relax, eliminate toxins and unwind in the thermal swimming pool at 34° with its bubble beds, hydrojets and swan necks.*

You can also enjoy a spray shower, a hydro-massage bath, a massage, a mud application or a body treatment. The thermal baths, famous for their respiratory tracts and rheumatology, were already frequented by the Roman legions. Sulphurised water, which is conveyed at between 65 and 74°, provides its therapeutic benefits..
