Walking

To walk, climb or simply wander in untouched Nature, 250 km of signposted paths for long and medium treks await you, along with lakes, natural amphitheatres, steep-sided valleys (Lac d’Oo, Lac du Portillon, Lac Vert…the natural amphitheatres of La Glère, of Crabioules; the Hospice de France, Port de Vénasque, the GR 10, Vallée du Lys, Ru d’Enfer; the Passéjade pathways to discover villages nestled in the mountains...).

You can call on the services of an experienced guide to lead you on routes taking you to the highest peaks, because here there is an exceptional concentration of mountaintops rising to over 3000 m. (Aneto, Boum, Maupas, Perdighero, Portillon, Crabioules, Lézat, Quaïrat, Posets, Spijeoles...)

You can also attack cliffs fitted out with climbing holds or head to the new climbing room (with its 4a to 8a/b artificial climbing wall) or the Acrobranch treetop circuit. The gondola lift can take you from 600 m to 1800 m in 12 minutes.

Mountain bike, kickbike, downhill racing bike...
On mountain roads, , making your way up legendary passes on the Tour de France itinerary(cols du Portillon, de Peyressourde, the climb up to the Superbagnères ski resort…) means you can put your own endurance to the test.
The Tour de France has made a stage more than 50 times at Luchon.
If you prefer biking for fun, opt for a downhill racing bike.
With Superbagnères for your starting point (12 minutes from Luchon by gondola lift) you will find a great many signposted mountain bike itineraries ranging from introductory to highly technical courses.

You can also descend via kickbike an all-terrain scooter with hub brakes, which is a great deal of fun.
